Pakistan are running against time to finalise a tour to South Africa next month to compensate for the loss of Champions Trophy.
“We are finalising TV rights, sponsorship deals etc for the tour which would be sent to Cricket South Africa," a PCB spokesman was quoted as saying to the BBC.
"Such series require a lot of work but I expect a schedule within 7-10 days."
Although it is yet to be known whether the series will entail one-day internationals or Twenty20 games, both boards are working hard to finalise the series.
"We are working on it at the moment," the PCB's Shafqat Naghmi said.
"It is a race against time as the tour has been finalised at a very short notice."
